I made this mixed media abstract collage on a canvas board, using acrylic paint, modeling paste, paper (quilling technique) and pieces of burlap. The artwork has a rich texture and dimensionality due to the modeling paste and the burlap pieces. The beautiful cluster of colorful quilled paper coils in the lower right side of the collage is the focal point of the artwork. Grooves made with modeling paste emanate from the cluster, visually dividing the artwork into 4 parts. The olive green background of the collage is darkened by the black paint at the corners and the edges, adding some vintage feel to the artwork, while the pieces of burlap give an ethnic accent to it. The dominating dark and neutral background of the collage is brightened by the vibrant colorful accents on various parts of the artwork, making it a beautiful outlet and unique decoration for your home and/or a nice gift for a loved one.

I always use high quality acrylic paint and always varnish my artworks for protection. All my artworks are original, one-of-a-kind and will never be repeated.
