A whimsical Bumblebee brooch made to order especially for you!
This lovely Bumblebee would make a perfect gift for all insect lovers ;) She is fully needle felted from a very soft merino wool on a wire frame in legs. There is a brooch clasp on the bottom so you can easily put the bumblebee on your scarf, bag or wherever you want.
The insect in the pictures is 4-5cm long.

This Bumblebee is needle felted using the traditional dry needle felting technique from 100% natural sheep's wool. Needle felting is the process of binding wool fibres by repeatedly stabbing them with a barbed needle. The barbs catch onto the fibres and cause them to tangle and bind together. To create a 3D sculpture it can take hours of work and thousands of stabs from start to finish.
