Vintage American handbag from the 1950s in green wood. The interior is in green damask fabric and has a small mirror. It is reworked by taking inspiration from a Venetian technique very fashionable in the 18th century: Arte Povera or Lacca Contrafatta which has practically disappeared today. A vintage Japanese pompom completes the decor.
Composition around a work by François Boucher "Chinese curiosity" representing an oriental scene in rockery style, in the spirit of "chinoiseries" very fashionable in the 18th century.
