The house is covered in Michigan Birch bark outlet and LOTS of tiny acorns collected from the Higgins Lake area in MI.
The "back door" is left open so you can reach in the turn the lights on and off.
Preserved lichens adorn the roof and various other parts of the house.
*"Preserved moss" is GENUINE moss/lichens, etc that have been preserved in a way to keep the original color and shape of the living moss.
I love the genuine article - no plastic here!!
The house is meant for inside use - this particular one was not waterproofed or sprayed with preservative for outdoor use.
I put a bit of Texas cedar oil on the curls to make it smell wonderful!
