This is a hand-painted Vajrasattva, Dhyani Buddha Thangka painting with silk brocade. The Vajrasattva is one of the sixth Dhyani Buddha, the Buddha of purification. The Vajrasattva thangkas are used in meditation and devotional and purification practices in the Buddhist tradition.
