A delightful antique silver gilt mounted Green Cabochon Labradorite Gemstone pin back Brooch probably dating from around the late 1800s

The stone has many natural features and colours including a deep internal shimmer when turned to one side or when it catches the light.

We are not gem stone specialist and have described this a Labradorite as it appears to fit that Gemstone . There seems no other stones that cover the colour and detail.

There no silver marks on this item , but this is quite usual for items such as this , as it probably originated form a country where such interesting items where crafted in provincial workshops .
