RARE Circa 80's J PETERMAN MUMU Kaftan This is a Unique and Rare J Peterman Mumu. It has a V Neck, is Ankle Length, and has a Beautiful Safari Look that is Geometric in Design. The Colors are Rust and Dark Brown. This could be Worn Open or Belted. The Color is best Represented in photograph #2. A little History of the J Peterman Company - His Company was founded in 1987. He and his partner started the company with an ad in the New Yorker Featuring a Horseman's Duster Coat. They Sold 70 coats through that Ad. They then went into the Catalog Business. The Way they Advertised their Items was totally different in that the Items were not Photographs, but Sketches with very Descriptive Copy. These Descriptions Helped their customers think outlet about a World of Travel, Romance, and Adventure.
