Indigo dyeing by natural fermentation is definitely a traditional high-cost technology, and the daily maintenance of dye plants requires a special master to complete; our dye vat fermentation raw materials are outlet taken from a variety of plants in the mountains and need to be replaced every once in a while with natural dyes.
The collected plants are washed and smashed, put into wooden barrels, added with an appropriate amount of water, indigo paste, shochu, and plant ash, etc., stirring evenly and waiting for fermentation.
After 3-15 days, the dyeing tank can be dyed after the fermentation is good. After each dyeing is completed, a certain amount of indigo paste, shochu, and plant color-fixing materials need to be added to raise blue.
Special Note:
This fabric is made of handmade cotton tie-dyeing process, free and random smudge, unique color, thick texture, but it should be noted that each batch of dyeing may have some color difference, which is normal.
