Griffon with detachable outlet mountain base for dnd

This is a 28mm scale wizkids griffon minifigure for dungeons and dragons handpainted and based by myself. The front half of the figure is painted like a bald eagle with the rear half like a lion. The wing color is brown which fades to white at the feather tips. It attatches to the base with an embedded rare earth magnet. I did a lot of "wet blending" with the paint colors on the figure. Vallejo and Citadel paints were used on the figure, as well as some Citadel texture and Woodland Scenics "snow". The base is hand-carved from hand-laminated balsa wood, which is painted like a mountain peak. There is also an embedded magnet in the base to securely attatch the figure to. Woodland Scenics tree armiture branches were cleaned up, primed and painted, and added with clump foliage in two colors. I then applied flocking outlet to the foliage to further vary the foliage colors. Woodland Scenics snow and Citadel texture further adds to the look as a snowy mountain peak. This figure took almost 2 weeks from start to finish with the wood carving and finishes.

The figure on the base measures approximately 5.5" wide, 4" long, and 5.5" high.
