Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is a series of three children's books written by Alvin Schwartz and illustrated by Stephen Gammell. The titles of the books are Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (1981), More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (1984), and Scary Stories 3 More Tales to Chill Your Bones (1991). Beware these stories may give you clammy palms, goose bumps, the shivers, and other signs of fright.

The question everyone asks me is: do these have the original drawings banned by so many school libraries? The answer is Yes indeed!

Condition: Good books. Box shows some wear, bumps, bends, impressions, light soiling, and edge tears. The books have edge and shelf wear. Each one has been read and shows some handling marks. They show a bit of rubbing along the spine from being put in the box with some corner wear and bumps. All details can be seen in the photos.

This is the regular full size edition of these books.
