We have never had an adapter come back for failure out of stress proof! Description: A steel shaft adapter to convert a 7/8 Tapered crankshaft to a 1 inch shaft. The adapter is 3 inches long and includes the custom key needed to go from the adapter to your pulley or clutch. You must use the through bolt to hold this adapter onto the engine. All cnc machined in the USA for a perfect fit. A very handy way to use your old pulley on a new engine. Many generators and pressure washers use these tapered crankshafts as shown in the last picture. (Crank NOT included) But if your crank measures 7/8" or .875 before the taper then this is the adapter for you. Converts it outlet to a straight size of 1 inch. Taper to 1 1/8 size is also available in our store.
