Antique (1920) cast iron hunting dog book ends A Sportsman's Friend by sculptor Emanuel Hahn. Bronze patina, felt covering to bases. When the felt is lifted, the signature HAHN is inscribed to the base.

About the artist: Emanuel Otto Hahn outlet was a German-born Canadian sculptor and coin designer and co-founder and first president of the Sculptors' Society of Canada.

Beautiful pair of hunting dog book ends that are finely detailed and have a great patina. There is some wear to the Sportsman's Friend engraving on the front. The signature is underneath the felt base coverings. Book ends are very heavy with each weighing approximately 3 lbs.
