Vintage Arabia Finland Blue Anemone lidded casserole dish / serving bowl (that's what others call when they lose its lid)
Designed by Ulla Procope in late 1950s and produced into 1960s.
Hand painted and signed with initials of the designer and the decorator.
Made in Finland.

The base casserole bowl : 9" diameter x 3" tall
With lid closed, it is 5" tall to the top.

The design is still clear and shiny. Very minimum amount of utensil mark. There is one long, clear line of crazing (sign of aging, not an accident) inside (photo #5). The line is only on the surface glaze, not a crack through ceramic. There are also tiny amount of accidental touch of blue: one blue dot on the lid (photo #5) and tiny white spots are shown in the photos (photo #6). They are just sample of imperfection happens a lot in hand painted decoration. I also discovered a tiny, shallow chip inside rim of the lid. Hardly noticeable. Please enlarge the last photo and see where outlet the pencil is pointing. Overall it is in excellent vintage condition. All small imperfections I described above are very minor and do not affect the beauty of this casserole dish much.
