The Mad Max Necklace was designed and created by artist Sean Ciaccio for Earth Echos Jewelry. Sean has been outlet designing jewelry for a world wide clientele since 2004 in the artist village of Saugatuck, Michigan.
With this tough looking beaded necklace, the Mad Max, he uses dark Lavakite stones with a hint of Turquoise and Hematite. Lavakite is related to the well known Labradorite stone. Both have a shinning iridescence when suffused with light. These natural Lavakite stones are 20mm x 10mm. They have grey undertones with dark black inclusions that naturally occur in these stones.
The small, 3mm-4mm Turquoise and Hematite are used in between the Lavakite and along the neckline.
The overall length is 19” long. Notice the silverwork leading to the clap. Sean used Sterling Silver to create it and secure the Sterling silver Lobster clasp.
