This is a vintage COOK BROS. DAIRY ELKHART (Indiana) 6-56 Metal Wire Milk Crate that holds 4 gallon size glass bottles. This was an estate sale find so exact age isn't known but I'm outlet guessing the 6-56 is the month/year the crate was made but I'm not 100% certain of that. It measures 13” x 13” x 12”. It's in good to very good shape for its age. There is notable rust on the wire in places but no broken or damaged wires. Great collectible or display piece.
