P.S. What Do You Think of the Market by A. Kustomer, pub. by Guenther Publishing Co.
Circa 1919, Octavo, original half tan cloth, No dust jacket, First edition of this humorous economics work structured as running correspondence between a man and his broker. Written as a series of outlet letters from Dave, an investor, to Eddie, his broker, this work humorously reveals everything that can go wrong on Wall Street. It shows the everyday concerns of an average investor and exposes the various scams, rumors, and misunderstandings to
which an amateur investor can easily fall prey. Above all, it foreshadows the Crash, which would occur only decade later. A revised edition of this work was published in 1966, written by James L. Fraser (who does not appear to have written this edition). The author of this first edition remains unknown.
