Bastet or Bast, was the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection, health and sensuality. Bastet, a banisher of evil spirits and a fierce warrior, was the daughter of the Sun God Ra and was sister to Sekhmet, the Lioness goddess. Ancient Egyptians worshipped the cat, who protected the people by ridding their crops of rodents, which might carry disease. Read more about the enigmatic Bastet and about the pouch contents below!

This is an Original Egyptian Spirit Pouch, only available at the Dragon's Den Store. All Spirit Pouches come with a Certificate of Authenticity card complete with issue date and serial number and are configured by outlet hand with love and attention to detail. Each Spirit pouch is unique. No two pouches are created exactly alike. You will receive exactly what is shown in the photos.

This Bastet Spirit pouch honors the spirit of Bastet, the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection. All Egyptian pouches contain items that pertain to the deity directly and consist of at least 10 items mininum. Below are examples of what a Bastet Spirit pouch MAY contain: (See photos for exact contents).

- A 2x3” deerskin leather pouch on beaded, 1/8” deerskin flat cord that can be worn as a neck bag. 24” minimum. Beads may be wood, glass and/or acrylic.
- 1 pewter Bastet charm on front of pouch.
- A Bastet totem stone (with silhouette print).
- Crystals, minerals or stones, such as: rough lapis lazuli, golden tigers eye, polished apatite and/or pyrite.
- There may be a keychain with 2 or 3 relevant charms.
- There may be a 1.5 inch enamel Bastet lapel pin.
- There may be a 12mm glass cat eye.
- There may be a tiny ceramic Ankh.
