Chewy the Glossy Black outlet Cockatoo.

Glossy Black Cockatoos are sadly one of our many endangered birds. Due to a very specific diet ( certain types of sheoak cones) , land clearing and climate change, their numbers have dropped dramatically over time.
They are strangely named as they are neither glossy nor really that black ( more brown/black) but doesn't bother me as I prefer brown to black. They are my favourite of our Black cockatoos.
Chewy is a male and is hand sewn in wool felt with needle felted outlet and embroidered details.
He has glass eyes, and wool wrapped wire legs.
Measuring 32cm long and 25 cm tall.
