This beautiful batik fabric (made with a wax and dye process) shows off beautiful colors along with silhouettes of birds. The background is light turquoise and the leaves, flowers, and birds are in shades of purple, teal, orange, and green.
The reverse is also a batik fabric, this one in shades of dark purple. Purple stoles are traditionally worn during Lent (the weeks before Easter) and sometimes during Advent (the weeks before Christmas). This would be a lovely stole for either season.
Purple fringe compliments both fabrics.
This clergy stole measures about 48" from the back of the neck to the bottom of the fringe and is approximately 4" wide. outlet The neck is curved and slightly narrowed so that it fits neatly.
All my stoles are carefully tailored with firm interfacing (the same kind found in expensive jackets and coats) so that they hang straight and hold their shape. They are fully reversible -- with no tags or labels to get in the way.
