Small Antique German Lusterware Pedestal Cup and Saucer, Fine Porcelain Erdmann Schlegelmilch, depicting cupid and two young women in love

The Erdmann schlegelmilch Porcelain Factory was established in Suhl, Thuringia, Germany by Leonard Schlegelmilch and his two brothers. The factory was founded in 1861, the mark on this piece places the item to between 1891 and 1901.

In beautiful condition – no chips, cracks or hairline fractures, the paint and gold gilt still very vibrant, the gold is a little faded in places but very minimal, Please see photos.

Cup 4.5 cms high x 7 cms in diameter

Saucer 11 cms in diameter x 1.7 cms deep

Note that none of the antique pottery for sale in my store would be considered dish washer safe, I strongly recommend that all these items are hand washed.
