Mother of pearl goes Art Deco style assemblage outlet necklace vintage geometric jewelry button template funky statement carved

Geometrically shaped mother of pearl discs, squares, rectangles and more create an unexpected look...not your grandmothers pearl buttons! These pieces were great find at our local summertime antique market. My experience with mother of pearl has been with delicately carved buttons from the early 1900's. So this is a new twist for me. I love the way it turned out.

The individual stacked plates are connected with similarly toned freshwater pearls. The flat backs rest comfortably on the neck.
There are two 'true' antique buttons on this piece...in the center drop. This necklace is about 20" long.
