Vintage Japan Signed Set of outlet 2 Framed Hand Painted Ceramic Tiles Asian Beach Landscape Scene Beach Decor

outlet A vintage coordinating pair of signed and hand painted framed ceramic tiles. Each frame contains 3 tiles situated vertically, with one complete painting covering the 3 tiles. The 3 tiles are signed by the artist and framed in a black wooden frame. Each scene includes a rock island in the middle of the sea, with multiple trees and other foliage. Off in the distance is a beautiful mountain range. One of the scenes has a small thatched roof house on top of the rock island, while the other shows a sailboat lingering closely to the island. Each one has a metal hanger at the top, which is visible when hung. There is an original sticker on the back of each, which notes "Pat no 492647, made in Japan". The details and overall scene of these when put together is stunningly beautiful!

Each framed painting series is in excellent vintage condition. I wasn't able to find any issues with the paintings, no scratches or areas where the paint has worn off. It appears these have a glaze over the paint to protect them. The frames have some areas of missing paint and/or dings. Please see photo 7 for the most significant frame issue.
