Early Victorian Scalloped St. Joseph and St. Antonio, circa 1850
I outlet love these old Victorian era scalloped medals! They are difficult to come by and this particular one has two difficult subjects to come by!
One side features Saint Joseph holding The Child Jesus and reads in English, 'Saint Joseph, Pray for Us'
The other side has the image of Saint Anthony, also holding The Child Jesus, and reads, 'St. Antonio Pray for Us'. The medal images are worn from prayerful rubbing.
Measures 7/8 high with bail. Light wear, fitting for age. Unpolished aluminum.
