This helmet is a raw 3D print in white filament. The picture of a completed helmet is my own finished product after I spent time sanding, priming, and painting.
The visor is not included, for mine I used a welding shield and cut it to size with scissors. 3d printed supports are left in place of the visor for structural outlet integrity during shipping. These supports are easily removed by hand. Helmet earpieces and back grill are printed seperately to make sanding easier, they can easily be glued to the helmet when sanding is completed (slots exist for perfect placement).
The helmet makes an excellent statement piece, but is also large enough to be worn and is an excellent choice for cosplay. The helmet is hefty and durable, with thick walls minimizing the areas of infill.
I only make this helmet in a single size which is a good all-around fit for everyone (although too big for young children). It is not incredibly oversized, but it is large enough to allow for foam padding to be added. Without foam padding most people will find that the helmet will wiggle from side to side when turning their heads abruptly. (For reference, I am a 6' male who would normally purchase a large bicycle helmet, and my personal make of this print fits fine).
Please note: I print this item at a high resolution (0.169 mm layer height). Even still, tiny 3D printed layer lines will be visible unless sanded out.
