outlet The Charlie B Gallery of Carson City, Nevada is selling this Circa 1950 MCM Isabelle Petrik chalice vessel form. Per Vasefinder: Isabelle Petrik(1909-1978) worked in several mediums. She was a student of the New Jersey painter Maxwell Simpson. From the review of the Vasefinder collection of pots created by this artist, she used several different clay bodies, which we have confirmed some were dug and mixed by the artist. Isabelle exhibited at the Syracuse Ceramic Nationals in 1956.

The subject is signed Petrik as shown. There are no post-studio chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs---factory crazing is present and natural asymmetry. Everything is original to the form. All fragile merchandise is shipped using the "double box" process.
