Simon P Gerz lidded beer stein circa outlet 1936, cobalt blue with relief pattern

A delightful little pre - WW II, in a deep cobalt blue high gloss glaze and a relief grain-plant parttern.
The thumblift has outlet a pearl band edge decor. Along with the strap it is made of pewter, whereas the lid - typical for this era between the great wars, is a nickel plated metal. Highly polished, plain and has a low neat profile.

In excellent vintage condition. The lid fits cleanly and sits snugly, the strap is stable and sits tightly.
The glaze is free from cracks chips or abrasions.
