Super Rare RADO LED Watch with Super Rare 10 Micron Thick 14 K Gold Rado Bracelet. Watch made in Switzerland, Bracelet made in Italy, exclusively for Rado Watch Company. I changed the old corroded 40 year old battery with a new Duracell caliber 386 battery, outlet but corrosion from escaped battery acid or age or a combination of the two factors have nullified some of the circuitry, causing the Watch not to run. Dimensions: 37 mm case width, 40 mm case length and, importantly, 18 mm bracelet width, which being 10 Micron Gold Plated & Mint Condition is Vintage Valuable by itself. This Swiss/American prototype LED digital watch is from a period in time when Swiss Watches were under pressure from Japanese Quartz watches and American LED Digital Watches. Rado was planning to have its own LED watches with an American Technology Movement from Fairchild Electronics. Actually a few Rado Watches with LED features were made for commerce by Rado.
