Wonderful antique book of poetry. Copyrighted in 1892 and dated to 1909, this book has some wear outlet (please see pics). Still, this book is a wonderful antique. The pages would also be wonderful as backgrounds for pictures or used in other craft or art projects.
Tennyson's famous quotes include:
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; ‘Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.
Nature, red in tooth and claw.
Believing where we cannot prove.
Theirs is not to make reply: Theirs is not to reason why: Theirs is but to do and die.
**Please remember that these are vintage/antique items that I find at estate sales. They are not brand new and there may be small imperfections that I do not notice. I always try to give an accurate description, noting any chips, cracks, repairs, or flaws, but please check the pictures carefully as they are part of the description.**
