Jade West has been mining Canadian Nephrite Jade for 40 years. Jade West is currently operating 4 mines in northern British Columbia, the most famous of which is our Polar Mine. Polar Jade is the most famous Jade to be found in Canada it is harder then all other nephrite - Jade West is the only company to mine Polar Jade at the Polar Mine.

Our season spans roughly 2.5 months, from mid June to the end of August. The small season is because of the severe weather and snow that comes in.

Our Jade is found is found in outlet famous carvings around the world. The best example of this is the Jade Buddha For Universal Peace, which was carved from the Polar Pride boulder - The Jade Buddha is currently on a world tour.
