The outlet Iguanodon

Many meat eating dinosaurs would have killed to make a meal of the Iguanodon. But with huge thumb spikes to defend itself, this outlet big plant eater was no easy conquest. This highly successful dinosaur had a horny beak to clip off shoots, a special set of grinding teeth, and a long gut to aid digestion. It was the first animal of its size to have such advanced eating apparatus and it soon outnumbered more primitive plant eaters. One of the first dinosaurs to be discovered, the Iguanodon was named before the word "dinosaur " was invented. During its time on earth, the Iguanodon spread across the planet a success proven by widespread fossil remains.
