French / European Pink Mottled Enamel Measuring Pitcher, outlet French Jug, Water Pitcher, Pink Enamelware
Sourced at the Rederie de Amiens, France, this enameled measuring pitcher was likely manufactured in a neighboring country for both French and European markets.
The oversized pitcher is covered in pink with white mottled enamel. The rim and spout are trimmed with red enamel, adding interesting contrast. The pitcher is solidly constructed with a raised ridge above the base providing texture. The interior has some minor rusting along the base rim though remains watertight. The exterior has some minor missing enamel along the base, upper rim and handle all of which lend to its timeworn charm. Overall, this piece is in very good vintage condition outlet given age and years of use.
Whether used as a pitcher, vase or utensil holder, you have an authentic and functional piece with loads of European charm anywhere you show in your home. And if you are a pink lover, grab it now! Pink enamelware is increasingly difficult to source ~
