This Maple burl is outstanding. It is turned outlet with a bark edge that follows the natural contour of the wood. There are rays extending to the edges. The shape is very unique flowing from the center to the uneven edges running high and low. It has some areas of darker wood which is bark inclusions. This bowl is truly a work of art. I have included an apple in some of the photos to help you gauge the size.

This bowl is 7-1/2 to 8-1/2 inches in diameter. It stands from 3 to 4 inches tall. It is finished with a lacquer finish.
