Vintage Soundwave branded Panda Novelty AM Transistor Radio For your consideration is vintage Soundwave branded Panda novelty set Made in Hong Kong around 1980. This Panda bear shaped set was produced and sold under different brands (this particular unit is outlet branded: Soundwave) . Details: Body is in good shape, there are some scratches here and there and some minor loss of paint from normal use (could be reviewed on the attached pictures.) Plastic is in great shape, no chips or cracks. Radio is in good working order. The following was done to the set: >Battery connector was replaced >Electrolytic caps were replaced. >Volume control was cleaned and lubricated This radio works well and receives a lot of AM stations in my area. * Needs standard 9v battery to operate and works on AM band. ==========Please review pictures carefully as they are a part of the description.=========.
