Peaches Original Painting - Still outlet Life Oil Painting

A study of 3 peaches on a black and brown background. Oil on canvas. I painted this in a classic realist style, with a little bit of brushy expressiveness. Painted in my Portland, Oregon studio during the 2020 wildfires, when the sky was bright red-orange from smoke for a full week. The deep shadows and bright peachy colors in this painting lend it a little bit of drama.
