To change the date - pull the crown one division, then twist the crown counterclockwise.
To change the time - pull the crown into two divisions, then twist the crown clockwise until you set the right time.

This watch does not require batteries and does not need to be wind up because it is an automatic watch, when you wear the watch you wind up the mechanism by moving your arm around when you outlet walk.
