Art Deco 1920's sterling silver, sapphire blue and clear paste rhinestone bracelet outlet by Wachenheimer.
It is approximately 7 inches long, 1/4 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick with multiple hinges throughout (approximately 40 hinges).
All paste rhinestones are present, but I cannot guarantee if any have been replaced. However, the stones all appear to be original with little abrasion.
One clear paste sits about 1/32 higher than the others which you can feel. Could be a manufacturing flaw or a paste was replaced with a larger one. It is securely in place.
Our research places the mark of "Sterling Pat. 32017 Diamondbar" to Wachenheimer Brothers Inc. of Providence, Rhode Island.
They patented the buckle bracelet in this piece that was used in their jewelry business.
Please use caution when cleaning. We only used pure white vinegar to clean this piece.
Our research also told us to either white vinegar or a mix of lemon juice and olive oil to clean this piece as anything else could damage the pastes.
Regular cleaners and acids used to remove tarnish from sterling silver while likely damage or destroy the pastes.
If a higher quality of cleaning is preferred, please see a professional jeweler as even steam may loosen the settings. We highly recommend obtaining a security chain for this piece.
