Almost perfect condition, genuine Art Deco necklace outlet from around 1920-1940 or possibly earlier. This was not something for the lower class. Firstly, it uses Sleeping Beauty turquoise which is the rarest turquoise in the world and the only one with that baby blue color. There are these very unique cloudy Aurora borealis-like beads in-between. The necklace then connects on both sides to the lavalier consisting of sapphires; unknown if they are real or imitation. Below is something else that's rare and stunning; we see three of these oval pieces of green glass encased in silver and gilded in gold. In normal conditions you can see the metal on the bottom. Finally we have the drops consisting of these almost metallic yet soft looking beads along with some simple blue beads. Note: the extension is something added later on that you may remove; it is not silver like the rest of the item. I'm talking about the 3 inch piece of chain that is there if you want to lengthen the necklace which is 16".
