Set of 4 wooden figures in traditional Korean dress

Females are dressed in Chima Jeogori dresses, and man is dressed in Baji pants

Each set of 2 figures are glued to a wooden base. On white base - small pieces of wood are glued to elevate the base, orange paper attached on the bottom. Other set of 2 figures are attached to a piece of wood wrapped in orange paper. The figures can be cut off the wooden bases if you want them separated.

1. Set of two female figures (from left to right). 3.25" tall x 1.25 wide. 2nd figure: 3.5" tall x 1.25" wide. Wooden base: 3 7/8" long x 2" wide
2. Set of two figures, one male, one female (left to right). Both are 3.5" tall x 1.25" wide. Wooden base: 3" x 3"

These type of carvings were made at the end outlet of the 1950-1953 Korean War by widows and orphans to support themselves. Many were purchased by US soldiers in Korea and brought back to the United States after the war.
