Gorgeous modern cotton baby quilt made to order. The front is a warm pale grey with woodland animals, leaves, and acorns, and the back is a coordinating deep green background with forest birds and leaves. Black and white striped edging matches the black and white accents on both sides of the quilt. Back by popular demand after the first one sold, I've bought more of these fabrics and can make 3 more. As these are made to order, yours will be very similar to the one in the photo and is made with exactly the same fabrics, but the placement of the animals might be slightly different.

Carefully quilted all over, with the inside layer made of lightweight Hobbs Heirloom Premium cotton batting sandwiched between the outer fabrics. The outer fabrics are high quality 100% cotton, which will get softer as it's washed (and yes, you can machine wash and tumble dry!) and will last many years.

Measures about 100cm by 120cm (39"x45"), so it's just right for baby's cot or crib, as a tummy time or play mat, on a toddler bed, tucked into the stroller or pushchair on a chilly day, or even as a kid-size lap quilt perfect for snuggling up on the sofa for family movie night. Quilts this size have a million uses as kids grow, and the modern woodland animal-themed print on this one will surely mean it'll be a favourite for years to come as it's a design that works for older kids as well. The front of the quilt has deer, squirrels, raccoons, foxes, bunnies, and mice as well as acorns, mushrooms, and leaves, and the back has coordinating birds and leaves.

I make these quilt by layering the two fabrics with the batting between, and quilt it in wibbly diagonal lines all over in 2 directions, making a diamond pattern. I used dove grey thread for the front, and green thread for the back so the quilting blends right in to the design on the fabrics. Then I trimmed the quilt so the edges are straight and sewed on the black and white fabric around all the edges to finish the quilt nicely, using white thread to match the striped border. I washed the fabrics before outlet sewing, and then washed the entire blanket after I was finished making it, so it's ready to be gifted or used upon arrival with you.
