North Atlantic outlet Puffins Painting Birds on Rocks Original Watercolor Mixed Media Art by AllKindsofArt artist Glenda Mullins

Three northern Atlantic puffin birds are featured in this original watercolor and mixed media painting.
One has just returned from fishing and has several fish in his mouth that the others would like outlet to get from him!

This artwork was one of my demonstration pieces for a lesson in my adult watercolor classes.
We created the rocks by mingling wet Ultramarine blue and Burnt Sienna paints on the wet paper and placing waxed paper on top of the paint until it dried.
When the waxed paper was peeled off the dried paper it left a texture that we could then enhance for rock texture.

The artwork measures 13.5" x 10" on 11" x 15" paper and can be easily matted to a 16" x 20" standard frame size.
A great gift for a bird lover or anyone who has been on a boat trip to see these delightful birds.
