This magnificent painted samovar was built in 1978 from Russia/Soviet Union/USSR.

Samovar (Russian samovar) is a heated metal vessel traditionally used for heating and boiling water in Russia and abroad, as well as in other countries of Central, South-Eastern, Eastern Europe, Kashmir and the Middle East. Since hot water is usually used to make tea, many samovars have a ring nozzle (burner) around the chimney that holds and heats a kettle filled with tea concentrate.
Although coal or charcoal is traditionally used for the firebox, many newer samovars use electricity to heat water in the same way as electric boilers.

The electric samovar is made of painted brass.

The samovar is 36 cm (15.1 inches) high and holds 2.5 liters of water. Its electrical parameters are 1000W and 220V. It is equipped with an electric wire.

The samovar is outlet in good vintage condition and is completely intact. It has not been used.

This is a unique piece of decor and a great find!
