Ace and outlet Pat Original Paintings

In my “Faces” series, I explore the visceral side of human expression. By leaning in a little too close, a normal display of emotion can become both grotesque and alluring. The “Faces” series pushes the boundaries of personal space in a bright and playful way.

Ace and Pat are #8 and #9, respectively, in the “Faces” series. Based off of classical depictions of Achilles and Patroclus, they are a perfectly matched pair of paintings.

All outlet paintings in the “Faces” series are totally unique, original paintings. There will never be another painting exactly like yours. “Faces” are made with gouache paint on a heavyweight paper.
