Serene white Marble elephant | Ethnic decor elephant | Marble nested elephants | Elephant queen outlet | Ethnic stone decor | Handcarved in India
This commissioned white elephant piece is a homage to Chess's origins in India. In the original (Hindu) conception of the game the majestic Elephant transformed into the mighty Rook as it wended its way to the West. But it remains a potent symbol for victory and fortune; the ultimate good luck charm in the lands of Dharma (ancient India, Hindu & Buddhist lands).
The chequerboard pattern, and outlet the baby Elephant nested deep inside its mother (a symbolism about how a Queen will fight just wars to protect her own and fight for what is right.)
Stonemasonry (est.): 64 Hours
