Scotch Ivory Earthenware 12pc Art outlet Deco Tea Set, Scotch Ivory Tea Coffee Set Made in Scotland by Britannia Pottery Hand Painted (ØF)

12pcs of Britannia Pottery's Scotch Ivory Art Deco Earthenware. Made in Scotland. Hand painted and clearly marked on the bottom. These pieces are bright and cheerful. Culturally important to any Scot. Ok, maybe not, but they are pretty and would be nice to see everyday. Here are 12 pieces of a Single Serve Coffee and Tea Set in what I believe is the "Bee and Rose" pattern. All the lids have a cute little bee and everything is decorated in artistic little yellow roses.

There are a few issues with a set this old (the company stopped production in 1939): many of the pieces have crazing, coffee pot has browned through the crazing, teapot has a chip off the rim, creamer has an old-charming repair and un-repaired chip. Please, please see all the pictures above as they help tell the story of this unique and very interesting earthenware set.
