It took me as a complete surprise to learn that at Paleozoic era New Mexico region was submerged by a warm shallow sea, and that's why desert corals are not a myth… I found a multi strand desert coral necklace in a small shop at Santa Fe and found it very easy to incorporate into a more sophisticated design enhanced by a tassel pendant (agate, carnelian, rhyolite stones of multiple shapes and colors dangling from a copper colored pendant), the desert coral necklace bringing it all together as an unusual and striking adornment. Of course I couldn't help throwing in another necklace with the same kind of stones used in the tassel, distributed along a faux leather cord. The first necklace runs 28 inches long plus additional 5 inches of the pendant, the desert coral part being 15 inches long. The shorter necklace is 24 inches long with additional 2 inches chain extender. One of the two bracelets is of a stretch type the other one features dark carnelian coin bead and has a lobster clasp. The earrings are suspended from French wire hooks. It's your choice to wear it all together (quite Santa Fe style) or separate the items depending upon the occasion. outlet
