Fabulous Find! Set of outlet (2) VERY RARE early Shari Hatchett Bohlman 1970s POP ART original Acrylic paintings on canvas.
Bright, colorful, and totally Mid Century Art! Each measures 10" tall X 13" wide and are in their original wooden frames. Each is signed by the artist in black paint.
These early pieces are very rare and this set is quite a find!
About the artist Shari Hatchett (Sharie Hatchett Bohlman):
Sharie has been painting since she was a young child and her style has evolved over the years. Once a playboy bunny and a renowned world traveler, Sharie and her husband now resided reside in Mexico. Many of her later paintings have "rooms with views" that allow the viewer to become captured by the images.
She has won many awards, and is very giving of her art to charities-both in the US and also in Mexico. Sharie has many famous admirers to include Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Julio Iglesias, Donald Trump, Quincy Jones and Trini Lopez, to name a few. She has been commissioned by presidents to paint for various events at the White House with those paintings being admitted to the WH permanent collection.
Great vintage condition and in original 1970s frames! The strawberry plant piece has a very slight canvas bubble at middle far left. The floral piece has little to no wear. Both pieces have very slight frame wear from movement/use and some slight artist painting imperfections.
