The gorgeous lowball smoke-brown drinking glass is in great to excellent condition. While the markings on the bottom is not fully discernible, the unique polish-like marks on the base along with its smoke-brown color is consistent with Moser glassware. According to references, a polished-down pontil mark is clear evidence of a meticulous and highly talented glassmaker. The glass is transparent with a brownish-gray tone. The thick and heavy bottom appears almost black when viewed from the side. However, it is translucent when looking through the base of the glass - which means light can get through but shapes and/or lines are not fully discernible. Also, the fluted upper section of the glass makes it much easier to hold - especially since the sides are smooth. Another great feature about this beautiful drinking glass is that it has very slight horizontal lines in the actual glass. The tiny horizontal lines are from the stretching and/or curing of the molten glass. Unlike most blown glass items, this glass has very few tiny dot-like bubbles and/or imperfections.

Please note that screen resolution and/or original lighting may cause the colors to appear lighter or darker than actual. Also, the reason this glass is described as "Moser-style" is because there are no clear discernible identification marks. While older Moser glass is not always marked, the polished pontil area along with its unique smoke-brown tone is almost overwhelmingly Moser in style.

There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repair marks on this beautiful lowball drinking glass. There are some vintage wear, age, and rub marks on the glass - mainly on the bottom where it has come in contact with different surfaces.

The decorative possibilities for this gorgeous smoke-brown lowball drinking glass are many. The china cabinet or display curio would be enhanced by the addition of this gorgeous lowball drinking glass. Also, the dining-room or kitchen would welcome this beautiful lowball drinking glass for its stunning smoke-brown appearance. In addition, the growing lowball-glass collection would increase in value and interest upon the arrival of this beautiful blown-glass treasure.

The collector will appreciate these gorgeous blown-glass lowball smoke-brown drinking glasses for their great to excellent condition, exquisite design, and beautiful overall appearance.

The gorgeous lowball smoke-brown glass weighs 10.5 oz.

The beautiful lowball glass measures approximately 4 1/8" tall x 3.5" wide across the fluted rim from outside to outside x 3" wide across the base from outside to outside

***Note on Measurements: All measurements are taken and described as close as possible. Where only an approximate measurement is available we will put approximately in the listing.

***Our Measurements for clothing are taken with the garment laying flat with closures fastened - zippers are zipped and buttons buttoned.

***The Bust measurement is obtained by measuring across the flat chest of the garment from armpit to armpit and then multiplying that number by two. To get the chest measurement simply divide the Bust by two.

***We clean our vintage inventory of surface dirt and dust before we list it on our site. We would not want to receive something dirty so we are not going to send our customers something with original dust or dirt. Therefore, after shipping we generally recommend all items be cleaned before use. This is not always because they are considered unclean but simply to make you aware of the possibility of needing to be cleaned after shipping and handling. This does three things: (1) It helps you know your item, (2) It helps you ensure your item is clean according to your standards, and (3) It removes any dust or grime that may have come from the shipping and delivery process.

***Unless noted in the description, we normally do not polish or repaint our inventory as many of our customers prefer the vintage patina look over a new painted or polished appearance.

***Please pay close attention to the pictures as they may show more than I may be able to explain.

***Please note that sometimes we enhance our pictures for sharpness and clarity.

***We aim to be good stewards of our planet; therefore, we may use or reuse boxes and/or packing that are clean and ship worthy.

***The year of production or year-it-was-made is an estimate based on experience, similar items, and/or appearance.

***Textiles and Fabrics such as linens, tapestries, clothing, tablecloths, or simple craft materials may be wrinkled or have lines upon arrival as they are folded for shipping. It is recommended they be laid out or hung up.

***As is common with pre-owned items they could have little marks outlet that are not so easily detectable - we refer to these as vintage wear and rub marks. While I do personally inspect each item, I can miss small marks that may not show up with regular inside light. That being said, I try to be very picky and careful to make sure the details are explained truthfully, honestly, and upfront.

***Virtually all pre-owned items have vintage wear and rub marks. This is simply a term that we have coined to point out that because: (1) they are older, (2) most likely they are not in their original plastic, wrapping, or packaging, (3) have been stored, (4) transported, (5) and handled - they are very likely to have little, small, or slight discolorations, marks, places, wear, etc. Hence, this is why we often have longer descriptions. We try very hard to make sure you know what we know.
