1930s German camera
The Certotiix Camera was manufactured by the Certo Camera Werk of Dresden Germany in the 1930s. It's a folding outlet camera that pops into place when opened bringing the camera immediately into position for instant use.
Made of reinforced aluminum with black leather bellows.
It measures 6 1/4" X 6 1/4" X 1 1/2" when folded and is 7 " high with a footprint of 5 1/2" X 3" when opened.
Great vintage condition for its age. The bellow is intact and in good condition. The slide bar that helps with sliding is detached on one side, but the camera opens and closes smoothly so this doesn't seem to affect its function.
This camera may work, but it's untested with film and is sold as found.
Great collectible piece!! This would make a stunning photo prop or display.
