This wall hanging artpiece is a must have for any Legend of Zelda fan. Whether you first joined Link on his adventures through Hyrule in "Legend of Zelda" back in 1986 or in "Breath of the Wild" in 2017, this timeless franchise has defined video games and video gamers. This piece is my own tribute to the Champion of Hyrule and no game room, den, dorm, or office is complete without a nod to this hero.

This shadowbox is made from outlet laser cut 110# colored paper cardstock. Each layer is cut from a different color of paper and is separated and stacked to create a 3D artpiece with a surprising amount of depth. The piece is sandwiched between 2 pieces of cut clear acrylic and held together with flat backed aluminum Chicago screws which add sturdy structure and look clean and crisp. The back panel features a keyhole cut to allow you to hang the piece from a nail or tack, making displaying the piece easy. The entire thing is light but sturdy and looks fantastic wherever you display it.

The Legend of Zelda has always been something close to my heart. I love the gameplay, the puzzles and the imagery. When I started making paper shadowboxes, the art from this franchise was something I knew I wanted to work with. While the Legend of Zelda, and the fan artwork surrounding the series, has served as my inspiration, the design for this shadowbox is my own. I wanted to create something that was recognizable at first glance, but rewarded fans of the series as well as those who took the time to examine the piece more closely. Most fans will recognize our hero, Link, in the foreground. Others familiar with the series will spot Death Mountain, home of the Gorons, and Ganon's Castle looming the background. Dedicated fans will spot Lake Hylia, with the ever present island in its center. And folks particularly interested in Ocarina of Time may even recognize the Desert Colossus from out past the wastelands. All of Link's adventures await, encompassed by the shape of his trusty Hylian Shield. Whatever your familiarity with the game, this piece will stand out and draw eyes and interest from all who see it. A truly unique piece of artwork
