Absolutely stunning Genuine Staffordshire Spanial dog figures!!! This set is in great condition without chips, cracks or repairs. Significant crazing throughout as well as bottoms consistent with age. If you look closely you can see that the pair are not quite twins with slight variations distinguishing them apart. A feature expected of genuine staffordshire. The stamp and hole size date these as produced between 1944-1962 cast from the original 19th century victorian molds aquired by the Kent family in the 1890's. The sitting Spaniel can be found in the William Kent (Porcelains) Ltd. catalogue created by the Kent family in 1955. Each spanial is roughly 8.75"H x 6.5" L x 4.75"W.
